Overview
At Queen of Hearts Training, we deliver Dysphagia Support Training for NDIS providers, support workers, disability carers, and aged care staff across the Sunshine Coast – from Gympie to Caloundra, including Noosa, the Hinterland, and surrounding areas.
Dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) is a high-risk support under the NDIS High Intensity Support Skills Descriptors. Incorrect management can cause choking, aspiration, and life-threatening emergencies. This course gives staff the knowledge, practical skills, and emergency response training to support participants safely.
